This Thursday 14th November sees our clubs AGM take place at the clubhouse at 7.30 pm.

All members are welcome to attend.

The bar will be open from 6.30pm and we look to continue our winter social following the formalities of the evenings meeting.

It’s a great opportunity to catch up with everyone and hear about plans for the 2025 season.

There are volunteer opportunities throughout the club that can be discussed on the evening. If you are unable to attend we would still like to hear from you if you’d like to be involved in the future of our club.

Nominations for captaincies or vice captaincies are welcome.

Roles on the Committee such as Secretary or General Committee Members are available.

Grounds and Clubhouse maintenance, volunteers are encouraged to get in touch too.

Match day volunteers are essential to help with the weekend tasks that need undertaking prior to and after games.

The committee would like to encourage more specialist volunteers such as those with knowledge website promotion.

Other areas would be a Lead in acquiring funding grants and a sponsorship co-ordinator.

Junior Cricket is another area our club would like to grow. New Coaches and age group administrators would be welcomed.

Our club would be delighted to help out and fund any courses that volunteers would like to undertake, eg. Coaching, Umpiring or Scoring.

Ladies Cricket is also coming to Pocklington CC in 2025, please get in touch if you’d like to find out more about that.

There’s lots going on at the club as we look to shape its future.
