The 3rds sponsored by A&M Removals of Pocklington were facing Ovington 2nds away this week and it was the hosts to batted first.

Ovington put on a good first innings score finishing on 222-4. John Fiorentini (3-29) was the pick of the bowlers, whilst the other wicket went to Lucas Tanikal (1-62). There were some other good spells which went unrewarded for Archie Sumner, Will Hamblin, Freddie Forman and Jonny Lofthouse.

Pock struggled in their reply with Forman (7), George Moorehouse (11), Will Foley (1) and then Fiorentini (25) all going relatively early. Only one more batter reached double figures with Archie Sumner (35*) playing a good innings but running out of partners as Pock were all out for 123.

The 3rds are back in action at Burnby Lane next week and host Ben Johnson on Saturday.
